Hervey Bay Aquatic Centre

Hervey Bay Aquatic Centre features a refurbished outdoor shaded lagoon pool along with a new-build splash pad installed in September 2025. Liquid Blu Architects, Waterplay, Urban Play, TP Aquatic Constructions, and the Life Floor Studio collaborated to bring the aquatic centre to life with thoughtful shade structures, playful new features, and options for all ages to engage with. Both the zero-depth entry pool and the splash pad are designed with Life Floor safety surfacing in a three-color triangle gradient that complements the surrounding area well.
The community response was immediately positive with patrons celebrating the amenities by playing, relaxing, and enjoying the centre. This project marks Life Floor’s third project with the Fraser Coast Regional Council. Thank you to the council for their continued trust in our products and brand promise!
